July - August - September 2015
Happy July (and August and September)!
I hope this entry finds you all well. It's been a while since my last entry and a lot has been going in the previous quarter. I've submitted some new art. I'm working on the promotion of my new book. I'm not getting enough sleep...
In June, The Trailokya Trilogy, Book One: The Shadow Soul was officially released by Booktrope Publishing (Seattle). I am exhausted! Three releases in three months. That's what I get for signing with a publisher!
It's all good though. The books are in great shape, and I am endlessly thankful to my editor and designer for making that happen. Blue is finally the book it was always meant to be. OP-DEC is spectacular, and now I can focus on The Trailokya Trilogy.
Currently working on the placement of the adaption of OP-DEC with a producer, and the interested parties are watching the readership (their audience) for the book rise. You can read the book for free thanks to Wattpad who are featuring it for free for the next six months (starting July 6-ending January 6). The app can be downloaded to any mobile and used like a kindle, or you can read on your PC by logging into their site. It's a great site for you writers out there!
Next week I begin a virtual book tour for Trailokya details can be found on my events page. There will be some interviews and articles. In the meantime, you can check out where I've been on my K Around the Web page.

Submission Guidelines for the Blue Honor Blog:
Guest bloggers should submit final works for publication. I reserve the right to do editing for clarity and grammar. If using pictures (I will select pictures if none are submitted), please link source (it's best to use free image sources so you don't have to wait around for artist permissions and miss your chance) and permission proof from artist. Your article should be no more than 1 - 2 pages (500 words?) in length. It should be coherent and informative, if it is a news item. Excessive profanity will be edited out, or cause a rejection of the piece. Submissions need to appeal to a large audience. APA Style, though I'm not a stickler on this. If you know of someone who would love to contribute, don't hesitate to let them know about the blog.
If you're are rejected, accepted, edited, altered or ignored - no flaming me, other bloggers, or artists.
If your piece is accepted, you may republish it anywhere you wish, I'd appreciate a link to my blog where it appeared. I retain the right to republish (share) the work on social media, my website, deviantArt and other venues giving the author full credit. I am not responsible for revenue lost/gained from this agreement. There is no payment for blog submissions.
Guest blogs appear weekly on Wednesdays. Include a photo of yourself and a short bio (about 2-3 lines).

Imagine that! Spring is upon us already. The year is chugging along at top speed. Make sure to take time for yourself and to stop and smell the roses as they pop in the coming months.
Each year that goes by, it goes by faster.
So, what is on the docket for this month?
I've been busy building all my art pieces for the coming release of Burning Down, Book Two of The Trailokya Series. You can see some of them in my gallery. I completed the book trailer a few weeks ago, and you can see that here. I've also decided to vlog instead of just blog over on The Blue Honor Blog. You can see the first episode of that on April 22, on the blog. Subscrib

It's the end of the year already! Wow, that was fast. This year has been a tough one. I will not miss it, to be honest. From losing my Godfather, the recurrence of my dad's cancer and the constant financial woes, it can scratch!
The good, shining part, of 2015 is that my two books are back out from Booktrope. They've just put out the first in my new series: The Trailokya Trilogy, Book One: The Shadow Soul. OP-DEC is still under consideration for a film (these things take so much time).
That said, I am gearing up to do research for a new book and finished OP-GHO: Operation Ghost, the sequel to OP-DEC: Ope

The year has continued to hand me some really shitty things along with some magnificent achievements. Life goes on despite the things you accomplish, or the things that you lose. Earlier in April, I buried my Godfather who had been the best friend of my father since they were boys. He and his wife were like Peanut Butter and Jelly, Skip and Jerry. Now one half of that made in heaven recipe is gone. Just gone. The tears just flowed. I haven't cried at a funeral since I was a girl. I barely cried for my grandfather who I loved dearly, watched decline with the aid of Hospice. Skip was a hero; a Vietnam Veteran who was b

This journal comes a bit early, so I will likely be updating it when the book releases have a date, and when they actually come out. In the meantime, you can read some great stuff on my blog. www.BlueHonor.com/blog/

As always, I am seeking guest bloggers to write short articles for the blog. Those entries are published weekly on Wednesday at noon. You can offer a creative piece or news piece for consideration. I like features on artists, too. Please note me submissions and I'll let you know if you've been chosen.
The books are all edited at thi
